This is the first time that my daughter has been interested in playing basketball so I thought that I would give this program a try. Her first day at the program was great because the instructor Mr. Sky is awesome! He teaches the kids basic basketball skills and he doesn't put any pressure on them. The main reason why I like it is because it's mainly about the kids having fun and my child is excited to play.

Thank you Mr. Sky for bringing this program to PG County!

So far we have thoroughly enjoyed the SkyHigh Developmental Basketball League. Having worked with youth in the past I know it takes a lot of patience and skill, both of which Mr. Sky has an abundance of. He does an excellent job at blending the kids and their different skill levels together making the process competitive yet fun. I tip my cap to you and your assistant Mr. Sky.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Sky Hightournament. The location in Park Slope is nice, the playground is sufficient. I believe there are 3 full courts with games all happening simultaneously. The talent level is good, games are extremely competitive. The tournament is filled with talented youth from all over. What I like most is the tournament feel. Meaning it has a family friendly vibe, there is nothing but good basketball, no profanity laced tyrades by players, coaches, or parents that you can find at other tournaments. They have built a very nice organization where a husband, wife, and kids of all ages can enjoy the show.

From the first day I met Cedric, I was 12 years old, I had high confidence in my basketball skills but hadn’t played any actual competition. And from the first minute of his tournament in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, I was a deer in headlights. I had never played any players like this and my massive amount of confidence quickly escaped me.

He saw that and immediately took me under his wing. Inviting me to the park before the tournament started and showing me ways to improve my game in addition to helping get back my confidence.

From there our relationship continues to grow. He started training me, coming to my games, and became an assistant coach for my team my senior year in high school. He also became a calming voice and wise guide through a tough season. Not just for me, but other members of my team.

After College, he gave me the opportunity to coach in his young kids clinic for two years. Where he allowed me to get experience setting the daily program, running drills, and running the clinic if he had a conflicting obligation.

I grew up in his programs and have seen all sides of it. And can tell you first hand how it’s helped me grow, not only as a basketball player but as a person. The skills I learned have translated to my jobs and leadership positions I’ve held in other organization.

Cedric is a very giving person that puts his all into Sky High. He always see’s the best in people and does whatever is in his power to help you feel comfortable and achieve your goals.

My son Cody started playing in Coach Sky’s league since he was 5 years old. We had an amazing time! Cody is now 12 years old and still trains with Coach Sky from time to time. Cody still brags about how Coach taught him left hand layup that he mastered in two days. Honestly we need more Coaches in PG county like Coach Sky that really knows the game and has the passion to see these kids succeed. We are very thankful for Coach Sky and the lasting impact that he has made on our son. May God bless you as you continue to bless others.

This summer (2018) was the first summer that our boys (age 5 and 7) played basketball and I am very pleased with the experience they had with Mr. Sky. It was amazing to watch how much their skills progressed over the summer. They looked forward to going every Saturday and are still asking me when it's going to start up again. If you are looking for a skills program where "everybody plays" this is the one!
